AWR1243BOOST: mmWave Demo Visualizer stuck connecting to Class Auxiliary Port

Hi,

I am working with the AWR1243 Boost EVM. When I connect the device to mmWave Demo Visualizer, the Class Application/User UART is able to connect, but the Classic Auxiliary Data Port is not (it is stuck on a loop that says connecting to 2 of 2 targets). I wanted to know how do I solve this issue. For further information I am using the browser version of the demo visualizer on chrome.

    Hi,

    The demo visualizer does not support AWR1243. It only supports programmable mmwave sensors (i.e sensors that include a user programmable core) such as AWR1443/1642/1843

    It does not support AWR1243 which is a non programmable sensor.

    How would you like to use AWR1243

    Hi Cesar,

    I was planning on using the AWR1243 in conjunction with the DCA1000EVM for a project that involves sensing mm waves from a phantom device. Our group was planning on using the demo visualizer as a way to get data from the device. Is there another way to do it?

    The AWR1243+DCA1000 should be configured using mmwave studio.
     
    Please make sure you identify which version of AWR1243 you are using. That will determine which mmwave studio version is needed. (please see release notes )
