IWR1642BOOST: MMW Demo Visualizer - Data Port not connecting

Hello,

1) I am using SDK version (3.3.0) and Demo Visulaizer Version (3.3.0).

When i try to connect my device with Visualizer app, It is able to connect only one port out of 2 ports and it just stays there showing the below message,

"COM4:115200,COM3:921600 connecting to 2 of 2 targets.. IWR16xx non-secure ES 02.00".

2)I also tried to run the demo app using command line CLI, gave the command startSensor command, but i am getting the below error,

Kindly help!

Note : I also referred the below link , but no use.

Any how i am using the higher version of SDK which has the discussed fix i guess.

Chek switch SOP on the booard. May be it is wrong position?

Hello Pavel,

I think there is no SOP switch in my board.

I am using Jumpers to change the modes.

Currently Jumper is connected to SOP0 alone.

I have flashed 2.0.0.4 version binary to my device and its working fine. If i flash 3.3.0.3 binaries board doesn't send any data. It just hangs while connecting to data port as mentioned above.

Hi Nandan,

You need to press the "SEND CONFIG TO MMWAVE DEVICE" button in the visualizer, it appears it is connected. Does anything appear in the Console when you press this button?

Does anything appear in the console when you press your nRST button on your board?

I think before pressing the "SEND CONFIG TO MMWAVE DEVICE", both COM ports must be connected. In my case, it is failing to connect the COM port itself.

And if i press nRST button, i don't see anything on console.

Are you still seeing this issue? Have you followed the instructions in the Lab User Guide?
