It seems that the following thread has been closed but we are still facing the same issue. Together with Thomas Solignac, we're trying to acquire raw data from a DCA1000 evaluation board. We've followed the TI documentation to install mmWave Studio (mmwave_studio_02_01_00_00_win32), Uniflash (uniflash_sl.5.2.0.2519) , third party libraries (MCR_R2015aSP1_win32_installer, LVRTE2014SP1_f11Patchstd) and as you can see in the following screenshots, the SW/drivers seems to be well installed/configured:
We can connect to the device and everything seems to be ok as well:
After setting the different tabs (StaticConfig, DataConfig, SensorConfig tabs), we Set Up DCA 1000 and we connect (we've followed your advice and we have set the pack delay at 300us):
However, nothing happens when we trigger a frame and after approximately 1 minute we got the following error message:

We've tried the following:
- Run different computer with differnt OS, e.g., Windows 7 and Windows 10.
- Run mmWaveStudio with administrator rights
- Dissable firewal (ESET Endpoint Security)
- Add exceptions (trusted zone) to IPs 192.168.33.30 and 192.168.33.180
- Disable WIFI, or run in airplane mode
- Plug the Ethernet cable directly to the Ethernet connector of the board
- Use differnt Ethernet to USB adapters
In 6 and 7, we've always fix the IP as follows:
But in all cases, we always get the TIMEOUT error.
We now wonder if the error could be linked to the hardware itself, or to the pinout configuration?
