I set the range resolution in the mmwave visualizer to be 4cm, and then put the board 40cm away from the board.(we measured this by a ruler) Then we exported the data from the visualizer, and found that the peak is at bin 15, which indicated that the wall is at around 60cm. We did similar experiment with multiple distances, and all of them were having around 10cm to 20cm error in range position. Is that true that the range is calculated by range_resolution * bin_number? Are all the bins evenly distributed in the range profile?
