AWR1642BOOST: Reset board by using software and by NRST

1) How can I reset this board by software? There are times I get into some unstable operation that is easily fixed by restarting the board; what I do is remove and put the power back and i think there could be better way.

2) What is the use of NRST button? Is this similar to restarting the power to AWR chip?

It is not possible to reset the board by sw that runs on the board.

Yes, NRST is similar to rebooting the device

Was there a way to do the NRST in software then? I am thinking if NRST can be negotiated in sw, then I could restart board as well.

Hello Jonathan,

Yes, there is not way to control nRESET from the internal application but there are another ways to do that.
