AWR1843BOOST: Quaries related to vehicle occupancy detection demo

Hallo TI,

Currently we are using AWR1843BOOST board along with vehicle occupant detection demo for detecting a moving target. Below are few things we would like to know.

1. Currently the maximum range of this demo is 3 meters, we would like to minimize it to 1 meter. Is it possible to decrease the maximum range of the demo? 

2. The current demo uses resolution of 4,7cm (3m/64 Rows). Is it possible to change the resolution to 2.3 cm(3m/128 Rows) or further more?

3. As far as I understood current demo uses only 2 Tx antennas, Is there any way I could include the Z-axis for this demo?

If any of the above mentioned are possible, Please direct me where exactly I can change in the code.

    Hi,

    What type of target are you trying to detect. This may not be the right demo to use.

    This demo does not support Z axis.

    The resolution is not defined by 3m/64 it is defined by Bandwidth available. Max resolution is already used since the demo uses 4GHz bandwidth
