DCA1000EVM: Unable to capture dumps with the desired configuration on AWR1642EVM.

When I give the configuration that comes default with the DCA1000 in the sensor configuration step i am able to observe the detections accurately after plotting(matlab).

But when i am using the desired configuration say best range,best velocity(got from mmwave demo visualizer) and some other required configuration not able to see the peaks in the plot and observing the peaks at constant range say some 2m or 3m irrespective of the position where the person (or multiple persons) is standing and not observing any doppler shift even if the person is moving.

Iam using mmwave studio version 1 and AWR1642EVM.

Why are we not able to capture the dumps with the desired configuration?

Hi Archana,

Could you confirm that same configuration works with mmw demo and Visualizer?

And do you mmWave Studio to configure the device while capturing from DCA1000 in this case?

Hi Jitendra,

Yes,the configuration are working with the demo Visualizer and i am giving the configuration from the sensor configuration tab in mmWave studio.One more point to be noted is there are no errors when iam giving the configuration in mmwave studio but iam not able to observe any detections from the adc dumps captured.
