AWR2243: Internal Temperature Sensor Measurement Anomaly

Part Number: AWR2243

We are performing thermal testing on an AWR2243 based RADAR sensor.  We are utilizing the internal temperature sense capability of the device and are able to log the nine temperature measurements available on the AWR2243.

We are seeing what appears to be a discrepancy with the TEMP_DIG1_SENS measurement value.  It always reads 20 to 40 degrees warmer that the other eight sensors.  This issue even occurs at initial power on before the device is broadcasting RADAR chirps.  A sample of the temperature logs from a recent test are attached.  This data represents multiple AWR2243 devices numbered 0 through 7.

Is this an error in the sensor measurement or is the digital core actually that much hotter than the TX, RX and PM sections?
