AWR1843: AWR1843 CAN FD test with PEAK PCAN-USB Pro

Hi Team,

The customer is experiencing below issue and needs your help.

Use "PEAK PCAN-USB Pro" do CAN-FD test , result is fail , but change to "CANFD_MCANFrameType_CLASSIC", then test result is OK.

Test environment: Windows 10
Test device: PEAK, PCAN-USB Pro (w/CAN FD)
Test tool: PCAN-View (Version 4.2.4.564)
Bit rate: 500kBits/s data rate:2Mbits/s

AWR1843 connect to PEAK PCAN-USB Pro than to PC

1) The part number of the Peak PCAN-USB converter

2) The sw release/path to the CAN test used

We have tested with a slightly different model - IPEH-004022. But I don't think this is an issue.

We will try to test it again on our side and will get back to you

HI,

I have checked with developer and we have not seen any problems with the CAN USB converter we have used. I recommend you contact IPEH-004061 12862 Manufacturer Support.

Hi Cesar,

Is it possible that we get the CAN USB converter to your taiwan branch for test this problem . Because we can pass in classic mode.

Unfortunately this is not possible since it is not possible for us to support the CAN converters
