TIDEP-01012: Assessment of maximum range based on given parameters and access phase/complex values information for computation of interferograms

Part Number: TIDEP-01012

Dear TI-Team,

we performed some measurements with our TIDEP-01012. We adjusted some of the chirp parameters to go beyond the initial 15m threshold (Link). However, we have two questions:

1. How is the maximum range/clip in the post-processing done? We tried to assess it based on the formulas in Programming Chirp Parameters in TI Radar Devices (chapter 2.1.1) but either information are missing (e.g. what is the Tx output power, TX antenna gain,... ?)

2. Where can I access the complex values of the range and azimuth compressed image? I would like to visualize the phase information instead of the magnitude as well as computing the interferograms between two acquisitions.

Best regards,

Andreas

  • Hi,

The post processing scripts are provided in the mmwave studio 2.1 release.

You have access to the raw data so you should be able to extract any information available in raw data.

    What additional support is needed?

    thank you

    Cesar
