Hi,
1. The amplitude of illumXtalk calibration is close to 15,000, and the register force_scale_val needs to be set to 5 to complete the calibration. Why is the bottom noise so high?
2. During the measurement process, the target object increases in amplitude from far to near, but when it reaches more than 10,000, it jumps directly to 65536 with a distance of 0 and cannot be measured. Why will the strength appear fault phenomenon, how to solve?
Thanks!
Hi,
1) Have the provided resources listed here been reviewed and does design conform to them? https://e2e.ti.com/support/sensors/f/1023/t/815766
Specifically data sheet and intro to system design doc listed. There are guidelines for PCB layout, component selection, and shielding that need to be follow. If illum xtalk is not <1000 it is likely some guidelines were not followed.
2) If illumXtalk is so high and device is not calibrated then readings will not make sense. Please refer to the calibration docs listed in my link above.
Best,
Alex
