I have read about some radar chips that can be used for material detection. For example Googles Soli. I have tried to find information about material detection using radar both here in the forum and on the TI site but came up empty handed. I do understand the technologies of material detection and object detection are completely different, but is this area something that is considered of interest for TI and your chips? Do you think it is possible to use TI chips to implement material detection? Or are your radar technology primarily for object detection and distance measurements?
