IWR1642BOOST: Testing moving OBJ question

Hello,TI's engineer.I have two questions about when I test the IWR1642 SRR demo with 128 chirps to track the obj.

1、When obj get 50m,then the obj is disappear(I set the max distance around 88m),which parameters will cause this problem?

2、When I test moving target,the target will spilt into several moving targets.What reason will cause it?

    Hi,

    1. Are you using the demo oob or did you make any changes to it?

    In our testing we are able to see at boresight a moving car at a range of ~80m with the configuration provided.

    If the object you are observing is smaller than a car than it is possible that it is observed at shorter range.

    2. This question is difficult to answer without more information and even raw data. Is this effect always observable? It would be better to test in an open environment first where there are no other cars moving.
