CCS/AWR1843: AWR1843 chirp phase modulation lead to RF signal leakage

HI experts,

I am configuring the chirp phase modulation by using the rlSetMultiBpmChirpConfig api, the phase is changed per chirp in every frame, afer that I did chirp phase demodulation per chirp and saved the detetmatix data. below I attach a orignal detmatix data ,you can see the unsuitable signal modulation in the left piture and it is correspond to the nearby range bin index from 1 to 3, when my chirp phase is all zero, detmatirx data is ok,just like the right picute, so I doubut it is rf signal leakage? could you check this issue?

HI,

I am using my own awr1843 board and I have also tested the awr1843 boost evm, it has the same result.

Can you please provide more information about your frame configuration?

1) how many chirps in the frame?

2) How many samples per chirp?

3) What is the Bandwidth used?

4) What is the phase of each chirp?

Hi,

I tried different kinds of frame configration, in most situation, my RF Bandwith is 600Mhz, 128 chirps in a frame ,starting from 76GHz, the phase of each chirp is random ,either 0 or pi.
