LDC2112: LDC2112 work normal at I2C low level

Part Number: LDC2112

Hi TI:

Our MCU use I2C connect all device including LDC2112

We have ship mode that will turn off all device power except LDC2112 since we will use LDC2112 to wake up system

So that we need at ship mode the LDC2112 still work normally

At ship mode, the I2C pull up power will turn off, so I2C will become low level

Can LDC2112 work normally when I2C at low level(I mean the OUT pin still can change polarity if trigger happen) ?

Thank you~~

  • Hello Poki,

Yes, the I2C pins do not have to be pulled high in order for the sensor measurements and the OUT pins to function. However please note that every time the LDC2112 cycles power its register settings will return to the default EEPROM values, so once the LDC2112 turns on the MCU will need to write the custom register settings over I2C. Only then can the device be used to wake the system.

    Best Regards,
