wanted to use AWR1843BOOST as a subsystem connected to a imx8 board from nxp via CAN bus. is it possible to connect via CAN and communicate with AWR1843BOOST? It should work on CAN right ?

Hi,

Yes there should be no problem from device perspective.

The CAN interface is standard and you should be able to communicate with any other host through CAN bus.

We have some demos available that show how to send data over the CAN bus.

Thanks for the reply.

Along with AWR1843BOOST evk, should we also procure sdk. mmwave or sdk comes along evk purchase? what are the total costs to get total setup ?

The sdk is provided for free and can be downloaded from ti.com link

For development it is helpful to have a CAN USB converter. We have been using the following but any other can be used.
