Can the NFC-DATALOGGER-EVM be debugged using a LaunchPad or only with the MSP-FET?

    Dear Franz - 

    the debug connection on that board is pinned out for ez430 header, like what can be found on the MSP430G2 LP or MSP-EXP430F5529 experimenter boards. 

    that is most direct way to connect it...however, the signals there are for SBW, so any MSP430 LaunchPad can support. 

    See page 14 https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/tidu821/tidu821.pdf, it says FET, which implies the standalone box, but as you must already know, the SBW is suppported with the LPs and the Experimenters boards, too. 

    the original idea was to connect G2 or better LP for this task, and at about that time MSP430 team was moving away from the ez430 header support and moving to what you see today as far as LP standards.
