Hallo,

I stumbled over the description of PE and PI in the data sheet on page 4:

PE 45 I Waveform DAC output
PI 44 O Waveform GAIN input

The I implies an input for PE, but the text describes an output.

The O implies an output for PI, but the text describes an input.

From what I see in the EVM schematics it looks like the I and O are the right ones.

So who is in and who is out ??

    Hello Ingo,

    Thank you for your question. That appears to be a mistake in the pin listing for the datasheet. PI is the waveform DAC output, and PE is the waveform gain input. I will make sure this gets updated in the next revision of the datasheet.
