AWR1642BOOST: How do I know if my AWR1642BOOST is nonfunctional?

Part Number: AWR1642BOOST
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MMWAVE-SDK, AWR1642, UNIFLASH

I bought the AWR1642BOOST but I can't seem to get the demo running on the board despite numerous attempts and failures. Yes, I followed all the steps on the user guide, I updated the image on the device successfully with Uni flash, I configured my COM ports correctly, I downloaded the TI cloud agent application and extension.

First off, which LEDs should be on when I am using the device correctly for the demo visualizer?

Also, how exactly do I go about on "running the demo" on the EVM? The demo visualizer tells me to

" Power up the mmWave Sensors and load/run the mmW Demo located at mmwave_sdk/_<ver>/packages/ti/demo/<platform>/mmw. "

How exactly would I run the demo on the device?

Also, please do not tell me to look in the user guide for instructions because I have read the user guide multiple times and I still can not make the demo work with the device.

The COM Ports XDS110 Class Application/USER UART and XDS110 Class Auxiliary DATA port show up on my device manager.

After trying different solutions for a couple weeks, I keep on receiving "connecting to 1 of 2 targets" with yellow dots besides the my_transport and my_transport1 with it saying "connecting." I am referring to the black bar on the bottom with the connection status of my device. Yes, I have tried hitting the reset button multiple times.

I need to know if there is another step that I have to take or if it is the actual EVM that is nonfunctional.
