DRV5032: DRV5032

Part Number: DRV5032

Hi Sir,

Would you pls help for questions about DRV5032? Thanks.

1. Omnipolar: if it means always has output, no matter S or N closer DRV5032?

2.  There is no output of DRV5032 when magnet close, can I say “Hall Sensor no work”?

Thanks, Ian.

  • Ian,

Yes, omnipolar means that either pole of a magnet should exhibit a response from the device. That said, not all the of the DRV5032 family is omnipolar. See the table below for a quick reference of your chosen device's setup. Also, many of our devices are open drain. If this is the case, they would need a pull up resistor to VCC to function correctly. See here:

Prior to saying the device is not working, would it be possible to share which device you are using, and a schematic of the device setup?
