IWR6843ISK: mmWave Studio 'contStream' error

Hello,

For test purpose, I want to use 'ContStream' on mmWave Studio for single tone signal(continuous wave) generation (ex. 60GHz).

But it seems that it is not working correctly.

I am using IWR6843, MMWAVEICBOOTST and DCA 1000.

I have followed below sequence

Connection ->StaticConfig->DataConfig->ContStream

On the ContStream tab 

Set(1) -> Enable(2) ->  SetUp DCA 1000 ->Capture(4) -> waited for 20sec -> StopCapture-> Display

But I it does not generation any log file.

could you check what is wrong??

  • HI, there:

    Can you confirm that cf.json file is existing in your directory C:\ti\mmwave_studio_02_01_00_00\mmWaveStudio\PostProc

    If so, did you see any adc_data.bin or adc_data_Raw_0.bin in that same directory with the right time stamp?  If so, then it means the capture is doing all right.  and we know the post processing does not work for continuous wave.

    I have an 'adc_data_Raw_0.bin' with the right time stamp. 

    I though post processing also works for the CW.
