AWR1642BOOST: Hands on steering wheel

I have the AWR1642Boost and want to develop application for Hands on steering wheel in the car cabin. Is it possible to sense the Hands on steering wheel with mmwave sensor? How to approach in this case? are there any demo projects for this case? I appreciate you for your help.

Hello Alireza,

With mmWave Sensor, it is mainly looking for object availability (human hand) in near field. Based on this you can decide if hand is on Steering or not.

And result based on calibration you do under different scenarios (environment).

You can start with mmw demo from SDK and there are application available on TI-Rex which can help you to do the basic experiment for this usecase.
