AWR1642BOOST: +DCA1000 ::: Possibility of capturing transmitted data in IQ form

Hi,

I am using an AWR1642BOOST ES2.0 EVM + DCA1000 EVM along with mmwave Studio 2.0.0.2.

My queries are:

1)  Is it possible that by using above two equipment and mmwave Studio, is there a way to capture the transmitted signal in IQ form ?

2)  And, is it then possible to process such transmitted signal (in IQ form) synchronously with received echo in IQ form ?

I understand that reply to question no. 2 is more related to my own algorithm to be developed, however, reply from TI for question no. 1 is more important. In addition, subsequently, TI may extend advisory guidance about question no. 2.

    Hello Alper,

    AWR device generates raw ADC data for IF signal (Rx signal mixed with Tx signal) only. It can't give you only Tx signal data.

    With DCA1000 you can capture the same IF signal ADC data over LVDS interface of device.

    This IF signal is in IQ format and can be configured to be in I-only format also.
