Hi everyone,

I'm using [Automotive Toolbox / Labs / Obstacle Detection] for practice, to learn how to use AWR1843BOOST Board.

And I'm wondering "how to use PC to control AWR1843BOOST without Micro USB Cable?" (maybe Bluetooth or else)

Please tell me how should I do. Thanks a lot!

Yeh,

The communication method between the AWR1843BOOST and a PC is UART over USB. Bluetooth is not a supported interface/peripheral on AWR1843BOOST. You would need to connect to the AWR1843BOOST to an external Bluetooth device.

Is there any suggestion that what external Bluetooth device should I use? I'm looking for a Bluetooth device so that AWR1843BOOST and a PC can transmit to each other for more than 15 meters.

Yeh,

We do not have an official external Bluetooth device recommendation at this time. You will need to complete this evaluation. But the connections are there to interface to an external device.
