DRV5057: Full Swing for TO-92 package

Can you please clarify the recommended direction of magnet movement for the full swing case if we use the TO92 package? This is clearly explained in your datasheet for the SOT23 package, but not for the TO92 (LPG) package. See figure 18 of the datasheet.

    Nicholas,

    For the TO92 package, a positive field is as shown in the image below:

    However, to align for a full swing transit, the magnet would need to be oriented as shown here.  The direction of travel is indicated with an arrow.  In this way, as the magnet passes the sensor it will be exposed to the field near each pole of the magnet resulting with both positive and negative magnetic field.
