AWR2243: Timing and Switching Characteristics of TX , Phase shifter and FMCW Ramp Generator

Hi TI  experts:

We will use the AWR2243 to desigen my radar.  Can you share me the fllowing parameters to help us?

1)   Tx enable/disable switching time 

2)   The response time of Phase shifter on Tx chian.

3)   How long does AWR2243 need to generate the Stable FMCW  signal from current mode to other mode for FMCW Ramp Generator?

May be give me the reference material which introduce these parameters.

    Hello,

    As part of the mmwave studio tool ( http://www.ti.com/tool/MMWAVE-STUDIO) there is a "Ramp timing calculator" which provides guidance on the timing based on your configuration ( ramp slope, rampling rate etc.).

    To answer your question,

    1) Tx enable/disable times are very small, < 1usec.

    2) Phase shifter is applied before the chirp starts, so its settled by the time the chirp starts.

    3) The recommended ADC start time in the Ramp timing Calculator provides an idea of the ramp settling.
