IWR6843ISK: problem with the 3D people counting

Part Number: IWR6843ISK

Hi,

1)I have been using  INDUSTRIAL_TOOL_BOX _4_2 and loaded the people counting binary for IWR6843ISK ,and the Gui seems to start with out the problem but for some reason i am not able to see people being detected  as cube as shown in the videos ,and the targets on the left side  window shows always zero ,i can only see few random dots when i move in front of it.I tried the above with windows ,and i  did give it  a try with linux too ,but the results were the same except i noticed  an error here ,it would be great if you could guide ,

2) is there  a linux GUI  support for 2D people counting in the industrial toll box 3.3,which version of the toolbox has it.

3)also facing problem when trying the GUI of tool box 3.3 2D people counting

Thanks

Rahul

  • Hi Rahul,

You can use the visualizer from Toolbox 4.2.1 that is based on python. This will run in linux - but you will have to install the dependencies as mentioned in the user's guide (we only have installer for windows).

When running, make sure to select "(Deprecated) 2D People Counting", and ensure you use a chirp configuration for the 2D People Counting lab.

    Regards,

    Justin
