IWR6843: Interfacing between IWR6843 and Arduino/Rapsberry Pi 3

I'm doing SPI test of IWR6843 EVM for many cases. About, 2 EVMs connection, I don't have to worry about the voltage difference. But I see IWR6843 EVM power input is 5V, while Arduino Uno is 6-12V. Please tell me whether IWR6843 EVM will be broken if I connect them directly. If yes, which device I should use as a level shifter between them?

- About Rapsberry Pi 3, I see the input voltage must be between 4.75 and 5.25V. So it should be ok to connect IWR6843 EVM directly to Pi 3.

Since I'm not professional in hardware & power, so I only assume above. I want TI engineers suggest me the way to connect IWR6843 EVM to Arduino/Pi 3, respectively. I'd appreciate if you could provide me with the name of level shifter (converter) and wiring diagram.

Hi,

What do you mean connect directly? you need to check the voltage output and input you are connecting together for the power pins and the logic level for the peripherals 3V3 or 1V8.

you need to figure out the voltage levels of the Raspberry or Arduino on the device or post on respective external forum for those devices.

Like I noted earlier both the Arduino and Raspberry PI are not TI products so I am not familiar with the it. Please post questions about Arduino and Raspeberry PI on the respective external forum.
