Hi Gustav,
Typically we don't support the Sync_IN pin on the IWR6843 device. I am looking internally to determine if there is a workaround.
Regards,
Justin
SYNC_IN is used in cascaded devices to synchronize the clocks. The IWR6843 is not a cascade device. It has the pin but it doesn't do anything on this device.
If the SYNC_IN functionality is not available, perhaps you can still use a GPIO interrupt trigger? If you set the frame as software triggered, then you can have a software interrupt start the frame. The software interrupt can be triggered by the GPIO pin. Of course the timing won't be as precise as a direct hardware trigger, but it will still be reasonable.

Justin
Ok thanks,
So in IWR6843 does not support hardware triggered frames? Only cascade devices supports it?
Regards Gustav
Hi Gustav,
That is correct. I will update you here if there is a workaround.

Justin
