IWR6843ISK: Regulatory compliance

Hi,

Is this plug in module compliant when operated within TI's test conditions? I could not see a clause stating this in the user guide or in any of the available documentations. Does the user have to operate this device inside a protected or controlled environment like a shielded chamber?

Hi,

I'm not sure what you mean by within TI's test conditions or what regulatory compliance you are referring to. However the EVM, at least the previous rev is RED (EU) certified, test reports are available on TIREX

We are in the process of getting the EVM Certified, it is a very similar board with additional features so we expect to pass RED standards.

I am basically wondering if IWR6843ISK is shipped with an FCC certified mark on it.

Hi,

There is a clause on the EVM, " for evaluation only ; not FCC approved for resale". We do not FCC certify the EVMs since its for evaluation only.
