IWR6843: Demo for Automated Door and Gate

Hi,

My customer is interested in the demo of the "Automated doors and gates" but I realized that the version of the iwr6843ISK ES1 that customer has right now, is not supported by this demo.

Can you please provide me with a more updated version of the IWR6843ISK, I was thinking of the IWR6843ISK-ODS version. Or do you have any other latest update?

Hello Antonio,

The automated doors and gates demo supports ES2.0 ISK, ODS, or AOP only. Please procure one of the EVMs using your usual methods.

I assume ES2.0 replaced ES1.0?

Just guessing… So the below EVMs have both IWR6843 ES2.0?

IWR6843 intelligent mmWave sensor standard antenna plug-in module

IWR6843ISK

IWR6843 intelligent mmWave overhead detection sensor (ODS) antenna plug-in module

IWR6843ISK-ODS

If customer orders them, he will receive the ES2.0 and not the ES1.0 anymore, correct?

Hello Antonio,

That is correct - all EVMs currently being shipped from TI are ES2.0.
