IWR6843: Power Up Sequence

Hi,

I have a question regarding the power up sequence and IO ports power supply. I´d like to know if there´s any problem on powering the 3v3 IO lanes before powering on the device itself. Couldn´t find on the DS.

    Hello Samuel,

      It’s not recommended to drive the 3.3/1.8V I/O lines without providing the VIO supply.  This is mainly due to ESD protection diodes  turning on while driving I/O lines  when VIO supply (in this case 3.3V)  not present, might cause reliability problems.

    Hence, it’s recommended first provide the supply then  drive IO lines.
