IWR1843BOOST: How to start with mmWave IWR1843

Part Number: IWR1843BOOST
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: IWR1843, IWR1642

Hello everyone,

I want to record vital signs with an IRW1843 kit development. Unfortunately, I think I don't have enough knowledge of firmware and hardware programming. Also, I never work with texas before. I consider mmWave documentation very rich, but sometimes I don't have sensibility enough in "electronic stuff" to understand it all. My ideal aim is transferring raw data to a computer.

So, my newbie questions are:

- Is it possible with an IWR1843BOOST get raw data and make post-processing in a python/Matlab script? Or my unique solution is acquiring another module (e.g. DCA1000 ?) for raw data capture?

- I saw the vital sign lab, is it possible to run in 1843?

- Is the IWR1843 sensor compatible with IWR1642? If yes, it's possible to run vital sign lab into IWR1843.

- At least, what are the steps to start with this mmWave without any experience in TEXAS (and a little experience in other MCU brands)?

I appreciate if someone could drive me in texas world. Thank you in advance
