Hi I would like to make a test program of my own, using the fdc2214evm.

Could you kindly provide me with a documentation of the communication protocol used between the evm and pc?

or if it is possible, would you be able to provide me with the code for the evm application?

Hi,

The FDC2214 uses standard I2C protocol for communication between Microcontroller and the device. Please refer to any standard I2C protocol to understand the communication. Please refer to the EVM user guide to see the connection between MSP430 and the device.

Hi Sharath.

I would like the protocol for communication between the EVM and PC rather than the I2C communication between MSP430 and the fdc2214.

The reason is, I would like to make a GUI of my own for my experiments.

I read on the other thread linked to this thread that providing the protocol may be possible.

It will help us make experimenting with the FDC2214 more useful.
