OPT3001: Creating custom circuit board using sensor

Part Number: OPT3001

I have finished developing code for the opt3001 sensor via I2C and want to create my own custom circuit board.

Embeddio SNAP Boards have this kind of board as well and I can snap it out and easily create my own PCB.

My question is what the durability of the opt3001 sensor in practice really is? Any test results?
