Hi

I'm looking to make a custom antenna patch arrangement, based on the MMWCAS-RF-EVM.  You've provided the reference design including schematic, bom etc which is a good start.  Please advise if there's any firmware or config data pre-loaded onto the Flash memory on the RF-EVM ?  or is this memory fully loaded and managed from the MMWCAS-DSP-EVM and so I can use that board to the new antenna arrangement ?

    Hello Steve,

    AWR1243P/AWR2243 is RF front end only device. For AWR1243P or AWR2243 for cascade RF board design, you need to load the firmware over the SPI from the external processor.

    MMWCAS-DSP-EVM sends firmware and configuration over SPI to each AWR device.
