Part Number: PGA411Q1EVM
Hi,
I connected PGA411 EVM to my PC successfully .
I ever read out the angel value a few days ago, but it doesn't work today. It always 0.
Thanks.

Hi,
Can you clarify that this board was working a few days ago, but it stopped working recently? Can you read the fault pin to make sure that it is Low. If it is High, then the device is in Fault state and the angle information will not be available. You can click on the Update button in the Fault Status section to know the Fault in the system if any.

Sharath.
Hi,
There is a button for NREST and FAULTRES on the EVM. Can you try holding either one of the button for few seconds to see if it works?
Is the microcontroller LED stable and not blinking?
Regards
Sharath.
Hi Sharath,
Press FAULTRES or NRST button will not let the board work. The microcontroller LED means the led D12? It is on, not blinking.
Hi,
Do you have access to read how much current the VCC is drawing? It should be around 120ma. If it is in the range of 40ma, then the device is in fault mode.

Sharath.
Hi Sharath,
When I connect PWR_IN to PGA411 , I can measure the current is 134.5mA. Then I plug the EVM to PC, the current is still 134.5mA, I pressed the button MCU_RST and waitied the LED stop blinking, the current was always 134.5mA.
But, It will down to 28mA when I open the EVM's GUI, If I hold FAULTRES button, the current will rise to 31.9mA. And, NRST button has no effect to the current.
If I press the button MCU_RST, the current back to 134.5mA.
Hi Nick,
Did you follow the 2.2.2 section of the datasheet where you need to launch the GUI when the LED is stable?
Regards
Sharath
Hi,
Is there any reason you think the board is damaged? If yes, you can request a replacement for the board. I am not sure why the board wouldn't work if you have followed everything on the user guide.
