I have problem in running the out of box demo for IWR6843AOPEVM ES1.0.

I try to follow the below instruction to update FW but I has problem.

It cannot connect to data serial port. After I send the config, it shows "cfarCfg is recognized as a CLI command.

I use sdk 3.2 and mmWave demo visualizer 3.2.

I attached my EVM pictures below.

I originally used SDK 3.2 (modified some codes and recompiled according to the instruction) and mmWave_demo_visualizer 3.2 or 3.4 (latest), it has problem as my thread said.

I tried to use SDK 3.2 precompiled bin and mmWave_Demo_Visualizer_IWR6843AOP 1.0. It can work.

But the only lab I can run for Toolbox 3.6.2 (which support IWR6843AOP ES1.0) is out of box demo.

I want to run more labs to evaluate the EVM like area_scanner, vital_signs, people_counting ,etc.

Can you teach me how to run these labs which is after Toolbox 4.0 on my EVM? Thanks.

Dear Joseph:

To be able to use the ES1.0 AOP EVM that you have you will need the following:

SDK Version :3.02.00.06

Industrial Toolbox Version: 4.2.0

I checked Toolbox Version 4.2.0. There are only "gesture_recognition" and "out_of_box_demo" compatible with ES1.0.

I tried to go back to Toolbox version 4.1.0. I found there is another LAB "68xx_area_scanner_v1" compatible with ES1.0.

This is what I need and I will use this lab to evaluate.

I think the mmWave's support for AOPEVM ES1.0 ends here.
