Hello,

I ordered a IWR6843AOPEVM sensor and I received the ES1 version. My idea was to test the Area Scanner demo. By searching in the forum I found that in order to execute the Area Scanner demo with this version, I needed to test the one in the Industrial Toolbox 4.0.1. I was able to do it, but the results were much worse than the ones I obtained with an ISK-ODS ES2 sensor and the last Area Scanner demo. I guess this difference in the results was a combination between using an older harware and running an older software version. My question is, is it possible to run the new Area Scanner demo with the IWR6843 AOPEVM ES1 sensor? In case it is not possible, will the AOPEVM ES2 version perform similar to the ISK-ODS ES2 sensor with the last Area Scanner demo?

Hello,

Yes the AOP ES2.0 performance should be at par with ODS ES2.0.

Quick question: which lab you are using for AOP ES1.0? 68xx_area_scanner_v1?

I have tested the 68xx_area_scanner_v1 lab? Is it this one the last version that can be run on the the AOP ES1.0?
