IWR1443: How to stop the reception of radar

I use mmwavestudio1.0.

I have two questions about "Stop Frame"button in "Sensorconfig"tab.

1 :

I press "Stop Frame"button in "Sensorconfig"tab to stop radar reception.

Is this method is correct?

2:

After pressing the button and waiting for a while, the "adc_data_Raw" is not stored in the specified folder on the PC.

Can you think of any reasons?

    Hello user6022435,

         "Stop Frame"button in "Sensorconfig"tab is used only in case of infinite frames. Please refer to the below instruction in the mmWave studio user guide document. 

    If you configure number of frames = 0 then, it's considered as infinite frames, otherwise it would capture required number of frames as specified in the "no of frames" in the frame configuration section within the sensor configuration tab.

    You could refer this document in the mmWave studio installation and under doc folder.

    Sorry ,I have a additional question.

    I could use "infinite frame".

    The file size of raw data differs greatly when the number of frames is fixed and when the number of frames is set to 0 (infinite frames).

    When the number of frames is 600 and the frame cycle is 100 ms, the file size is about 1.6 Gbyte.
    When the number of frames is set to 0 (infinite frame), the amount of data when you stop after 60 seconds from the start of transmission is about 800 Mbytes.
    Do you know the cause?

    Hello user6022435,

         Could you please confirm on how many frames it has captured? It's possible that it's capturing last 300 frames. Hence size could be half of the previous case.
