Hello,

(1) Who should I contact regarding an emission method of the test radio wave based on "TEST certification" of the Japan MIC.

There should had been the similar radio wave emission test method inquiries already. I'm not first requester about "TEST certification" of the IWR1642BOOST or 1443BOOST.

Until the TI Business Group finish registering the "TYPE certification" of the IWR1642 or 1443 as the manufactures for the MIC, each Japan user has to apply to the MIC for the "TEST certification".

Because I found the record of the device using the IWR1642 or 1443 registered with Japanese MIC "TEST certification" database (NOT "TYPE certification"), I think that some users had already requested regarding the emission test information required in the past.

(2) Could TI Business Group acquire the the "TYPE certification" of the IWR1642 or 1443 as the manufactures for the MIC of these devices?

    I appreciate your kind reply to my question (2) regarding the TI Business Group registering the "TYPE certification" of Japan MIC. I am looking forward to hearing the positive outcome.

    However, a problem of my question (1) still remains.

    As my first post mentioned, until the TI Business Group finish registering the"TYPE certification", each Japan user has to apply to the MIC for the "TEST certification".

    In "TEST certification", the cooperation of the TI Business Group is indispensable for the special radio emission test specified by Japan MIC.

    Who should we contact regarding "TEST certification" of Japan MIC?

    *Notes:
    "TEST certification": the certificate is issued for each unit.
    "TYPE certification": the certificate is issued for the "type" of radio equipment.

    Hi,

    You can post your questions regarding the TEST certification on this forum. As I noted earlier we have not gotten Japanese certification for the EVMs/Antenna, we are working on this but it will take few months to have the certification and report available publicly. In the meantime we are willing to provide assistance with tests/certification inquiries you may have.
