IWR6843AOPEVM: IWR6843AOPEVM can not connect SPI

Part Number: IWR6843AOPEVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MMWAVEICBOOST, DCA1000EVM, IWR6843AOP

Hello Experts

I am having trouble capturing RAW data from the IWR6843AOPEVM. My setup is as follows:

- IWR6843AOPEVM, MMWAVEICBOOST, DCA1000EVM as shown in the picture below :

I have configured the MMWAVEICBOOST according to Table 1 of the User Guide (SWRU546C). I am using mmWave Studio 02.01.01.00.

I can successfully connect to the DCA1000:

If I connect as outlined (one USB to the XDS110 of MMWAVEICBOOST, one USB to the Radar_FTDI port of the DCA100EVM or to the FTDI_USB of MMWAVEICBOOST?) I can not connect to the device:

What am I doing wrong? It seems to me that the switch configuration in table 1 is incorrect for the DCA100EVM case?

If I use the switch configuration (UG Table1) for Standalone mode I can connect and download firmware, however, the connection to the dCA100EVM then seems to fail.

What am I doing wrong, any help is appreciated. I would like to capture raw data. It seems the documentation is a bit messy caused by various name changed (AOP in one case means antenna on package in the other it means antenna on pcb, then there is an ES1.0 and an ES2.0 version etc...). Thank you ! Do you have a guide to capture raw data for dummies? (given all the actual boards and firmware/(software versions that seem to be incompatible often).

I also tried teh lua script as outlined in another thread "C:\ti\mmwave_studio_02_01_01_00\mmWaveStudio\Scripts\DataCaptureDemo_xWR.lua". Buit this already fails in the very beginning as partId can not be found (the Lua script only checks for efuseES2ES3Device == 0xE0 but my device reads efuseES2ES3Device == 0xF0). Thanks
