LDC1101EVM: LDC1101 EVM coil Q factor

Part Number: LDC1101EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LDC1101

Hi,

What is the Q factor of the coil used in the LDC1101 EVM? The table on page 8 of https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/snou137/snou137.pdf?ts=1594085311876&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.google.com%252F says the Q factor at 3MHz, is 29, but how is this calculated?

Using Q = (1/Rs)*sqrt(L/C) from 2.4.2 eqn 1 of https://www.ti.com/lit/an/snoa931a/snoa931a.pdf?ts=1591912424026, I get a Q of 75, for the parameters listed in the table on page 8.

I'd appreciate how the coil Q factor is calculated

Thanks,

Chris
