A customer is evaluating mmWave for their application. They want to locate cardboard boxes of varying content that are situated on a steel table. They have an EVM (IWR6843AOPEVM) and will test whether localization is possible considering the low reflectivity of cardboard and high reflectivity of steel. Can you elaborate on some questions beforehand?
How many full scans are possible at a distance of about 2m?
The surface of the table is made of steel and thus represents a total reflection.
The packages have different contents and are usually made of cardboard.
- Individual packets must be detected
o The position in space
o The height of the package
o The speed of the packet
What update rate and resolution of the parameters is possible?
