AWR1843BOOST: COM port missing when in functional mode

Hello,

I am using the AWR1843BOOST to try some projects from the automotive toolbox.

After successfully flashing the code to the EVM ,powering it off and changing the SOP2 pin to off for functional mode, the COM port does not appear anymore and hence can not get the GUI to work.

I have tried many projects, what can be the error?

Hello Mohamed,

That is very strange issue, binary (flashed to AWR) doesn't affect XDS110 COM port enumeration.

Does this issue happen only after flashing the binary file? What about CCS connection to the device?

Yes it used to happen only after flashing.

Now i found that it was a power supply issue.
