Hi TI-team.

My customer wants to detect people indoors.

However, there was no demo for IIII in the following toolbox of TI.

I checked with E2E.

Below is the answer that IWR1843 is not supported.

In the following, IWR1843 replied that Long Range People Detection demo can be done.

This Long Range People Detection demo is for outdoor use.

Can it be used indoors?

Does it lose accuracy?

Hi Koji Hayashi,

You can use the LRPD demo indoors, but you will need to modify the chirp for a shorter range environment. It will not be as accurate as the 68xx People Counting demo.

Can you give any customer requirements here? Specifically range and accuracy would be useful.

Hi Koji,

We haven't tested accuracy when using the demo indoors. I would expect decent performance up to 4 people with an appropriate chirp configuration.
