Dear team,
Hi user6387826,
Thank you for posting.
It is possible that the wait time is not long enough for the humidity measurement to be completed and loaded, which would result in a correct temperature value and a humidity return of 0% RH. Here is a FAQ on this topic: https://e2e.ti.com/support/sensors/f/1023/t/878721?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=HDC2010
The HDC2010 is subject to TI's Terms of Sale (https://www.ti.com/legal/terms-of-sale.html) and warranty information can be found in Section 8.
Best regards,
Nicole
Hi Nicole
Thank you so much for your reply. We found one issues in one of our HDC2010. In this sensor, the temperature reading is normal. However, the humidity reading always start from 90% or 100% and drop back to normal reading after we disconnected the power after couple hours (If the system restart immediately, the humidity reading is normal. ). I attached the pictures as below. Have you encounter similar issue before? Do you have any suggestion?
Do you have a logic analyzer capture of the I²C read as well as a schematic that you can share?
Additionally, is the board stored around any moisture or being handled directly? These things may be causing the issues that you are seeing. TI’s Storage and Handling Guidelines describes the precautions that are required during storage, assembly, and packaging.
Best regards,
Nicole
