AWR1642BOOST-ODS: Flashing binary through J6 connector

Hello,

I'm attempting to flash the binary on AWR1642BOOST-ODS via the AR_RS232RX and AR_RS232TX pins on the J6 connector.

I've followed this thread, that explains the process:

I've made the hardware changes, as shown in the attached pictures. I'm connecting to the pins with a ttl-232r-3v3 cable, as shown as well.

I've set the com port to baud rate of 115200. I get the same error as the other thread, cannot open the com port (picture below).

Does this setup seem correct?

Hello,

Have you set the SOP mode to flashing mode (Setting the SOP pins to 101) and reset the device with this SOP configuration?

Have you connected the TX of the FTDI device to the Rx of the AWR device and Rx of FTDI device to Tx of the AWR device?

Thank you Vivek,

I actually had a driver issue with the FTDI cable, works fine now
