I wanted to know whether it is possible to do online (real time data processing) with AWR 2243 boost board. If not then what are the other alternatives ?

    Hi,

    The AWR2243 is a sensor only device that requires a Host Processor.

    It is not possible to perform real time data processing only with the AWR2243BOOST board.

    It is possible to capture raw data using the DCA1000 capture card. However this will only allow offline processing of raw data.

    To perform real time processing you would need to implement the processing on a Host Processor.

    Hi Cesar,

             Thank you for the quick reply. I assume then that even with AWR 1243 and DCA 1000 we can capture data and do the process offline. So do you have like a single online processing sensor as of now ? (1642 or 6843 )

    Yes, this is correct. 1243BOOST+DCA100 is the same.
     
    For the other platforms (1843, 6843…) the processing is performed in real time on the processing engines (DSP or HWA) integrated in the device. The processed output is sent via UART to the PC and displayed with a GUI.
