AWR2243: How to increase Advanced Frame count number?

Hello Champs,

From DFP, Interface Control Document, the maximum number of Advanced Frame (profile) count is "4".

Is it possible to increase the max. count to "8"?

Is it physical limitation or logical?

    Hello Hayden,

    You can configure only upto 4 subframes in a frame, but to provide maximum flexibility, each of the sub frames consists of multiple bursts of chirps (up to 512 bursts). Each burst can consist of 512 unique chirps which are associated to one of the 4 profiles. 

    Please refer to the mmWave_dfp_user_guide.pdf present in the DFP package at location "<download directory>\mmwave_dfp_<ver>\docs".

    This document explains about advance frames in detail.
